Atomic Bomb

I think the decision of droping the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a tough but wise decision. If the United States had invaded Japan they would have suffered many lives lost. And if the US did not research the nuclear bomb, another country would have and the US would not be able to defend agaisnt it.

Part 3

Its amazing to think how they transported all those men and vehicles accross hundred miles of water in one night. I like the quote "If Hitler had seen Den Brotheridge and Bob Mathias in action at the beginning of D-Day, he might of had second thaughts." I like it because Hitler really underestimated the allied forces, but if he saw two heros he would really know how capible the allied forces were.

Family in WW2

I dont really have alot of information about my family involvment in World War 2, but i know the basics. My great grandfather fought in world war 2 and was stationed in Germany. Where we found a german women brought her back to the United States and married her.

Holocaust Museum

I thaught overall that todays field trip to the Holocaust Museum was really interesting, our tour guide was really knowledgeable of all the artifacts on the tour. But i just wish we had like some free time to walk around the museum and explorer on our own. but overall i say it was a really exciting experience.

Nazi Eugenics

I think the nazi eugenic was really messed up, Like with their experiments its hard to believe how the Nazis could do all those experiments to other humans and not feel remorse at all. its intresting how the nazis kept alot of the experiments away from the public. I personally think that all those experments and killing the mentally and physically handicapped just horrible.

Guadalcanal

I think the victory in Guadalcanal was a major significance in the Pacific theater of World War 2. It stoped the Japanesse from going into Australlia and it also boosted the morale of the american troops, thinking that if they beat the Japanesse in land, sea and air mabey good outcomes can come in the future.

Pearl Harbor, sucess for Japan?

I think pearl harbor was a fail for Japan, sure they destroyed some ships, but it just fired up the americans. Japan didnt even destroy the U.S. repair stations. So once American repaired everything, we were ready to fight.

Band of Brothers

I just finished watching Band of Brothers, and I personally think its one of the greatest things i ever watched. Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg did a remarkable job at creating this mini-series. You really feel for the soldiers that went through during World War 2. I think everyone should watch the whole mini series!

-It was a global war because the major European countrys had colonies all over the world.

2) Why did the Germas go to such lengths to destroy the Britians empire.
- The British would risk everything to win, The germans wanted to gain control over all of the British colonies in Africa and other continents. And with the British defeated Germany would control the seas.
